October 24, 2009 - Serious Navigational Error on Stevenson
A late model 4 Runner was out for a 3 hour cruise when the Captain/ Driver hit a bouy in the channel. The coast guard is trying to help the driver come up with a good story for his insurance company.
August 15, 2009 - Overturned Camper I-695 Bet Reisterstown Road and I-795.
Driver lost control and hit the barrier in the median rolling the camper trailer and breaking off the sewer pipe. The beltway required a wash down. A true Poop Call.
In the middle of dinner, Engine 2 was alerted for a a dwelling fire. Box 3-4 was for a bedroom fire..... The Running Assignment was chopped up because Engine 3 and Engine 13 were on calls, and CAD had just crashed and dispatch was sorting out the call..... Engine 3 was 1st in, with heavy smoke showing...... Engine 2 and 18 hot on their tails........ Fire eventually went through roof and was knocked down from outside.....

Approximately 1645hrs Engine 2 was alerted for a Fire Box at 911 Reisterstown Road. En route to the scene Engine 2 Requested a 2nd Alarm as we turned on to Reisterstown Road. Heavy Fire and Smoke visible from several blocks away. Heavy Fire and smoke conditions coming from an adjacent occupancy. An Aggressive attack was made by Engine 2's crew assisted by several other units made a quick knock on the fire.

Engine 2 responded to 2 working fires in 7
hours earlier today. D-Shift responded to an 18-7 box for
a house struck by lightning on the property of the Edrich Lumber
Company. Engine 2 handled securing the water source at the
pond, and prepared to fill the water supply units. At
approx. 0945 hours after clearing an investigation in a 14 box,
Engine 2 responded to a working fire in a 30-9 box on Bellona
Avenue. Engine 2 assisted with extinguishing and
overhaul, and cleared approx. 1200 hours.
B-Shift had an eventful night shift by
running a working dwelling fire in a 33 box early in the
evening, and then a 2 Alarm Apartment fire on Bonnie Ridge Drive
in a 14 box around 130 am. Engine 2 was the 2nd arriving
engine and assisted with search and rescue as well as
extinguishing.

Shortly before 6 am, Box 2-13 was sounded
for a building fire at the Pizza Man Restaurant. Units from
2 & 32 arrived to find heavy smoke showing and requested the WFD.
Shortly after making entry, Captain Davidson requested a 2nd
Alarm. Crews were able to contain the fire to the Pizza Man
and China Kitchen, and the bulk of the second alarm was cleared
from staging.

At approx. 2100 hours, Box 18-13 was
alerted for an apartment fire on Horizon Circle. Engine 2
was 1st arriving, finding fire showing from the 3rd floor of a 3
story garden apartment. Capt. Munchel established command
and shortly later requested a 2nd Alarm. The fire extended
into the attic and quickly spread to the adjoining building.
The fire eventually went to 4 alarms. Baltimore County FID
is investigating.

Captain "Spud" Davidson is departing
Engine 2, heading for his early retirement at Engine Company 56.
Paramedic Mike Bell is heading closer to home by transferring to
Medic "Zzzzzzz" 54.
Station 2 welcomes Captain Todd Gibney,
and Paramedic Alexander Paris to Station 2, both assigned to
D-Shift
